Dirty Rotten Scoundrels
Based on the popular 1988 film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels centers on two con men living on the French Riviera. The first is the suave and sophisticated Lawrence Jameson who makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money. The other, a small-time crook named Freddy Benson, makes a modest living swindling women with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health. After meeting on a train, they attempt to work together only to find that this small French town isn’t big enough for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female target, heiress Christine Colgate, wins and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues, that will keep audiences laughing, humming and guessing to the end.

Freddy Benson (Male, Age: 25 to 35, Tenor) – A young, clever, aspiring American con artist. He is a sloppy, yet attractive womanizer, and is eventually conned by Christine.
Christine Colgate (Female, Age: 25 to 35, Mezzo-Soprano) – A seemingly good-natured American heiress vacationing on the French Riviera, who is revealed to be a notorious con artist. Naive and clueless at first, she becomes cunning and mischievous.
Andre Thibault (Male, Age: 45 to 55, Baritone) – Lawrence’s French assistant. Official and mostly serious, he has a light-hearted nature and a quirky sense of humor.
Muriel Eubanks (Female, Age: 50 to 60, Alto) – A wealthy and attractive American socialite from Nebraska, she one of Lawrence’s victims and Andre’s subsequent love interest.
Jolene (Female, Age: 25 to 35, Alto) – An American heiress from Oklahoma and the “Princess of Petroleum,” she is very eager, optimistic, and energetic.
Lenore (Female, 30-40) Wealthy socialite, one of Lawrence’s ‘marks.’
Sophia (Female, 20-30) Wealthy socialite, one of Lawrence’s ‘marks.’
