Packed with high-energy dance numbers and catchy songs, Matilda Junior is a sixty-minute joyous girl power romp. Children and adults alike will be thrilled and delighted by the story of the special little girl with an extraordinary imagination.

Our Winter Youth Theater Camp is for kids aged 9-17. It starts with 4-hour mid-day sessions during Winter Break, then switches to an after-school schedule in January. It concludes with three performances in March. See below for schedule.

CAMP Planning

This last summer, we conducted Camp almost exclusively outdoors. Winter Camp is an afterschool activity, and with early sunset and cooler weather, working outdoors is not possible. Winter Camp rehearsals will be conducted indoors, and all performances will take place in the theater.

COVID-19 Protocols

With COVID-19 still impacting all aspects of our daily lives, we continue to follow CDC, state and local guidelines closely. As such, the following protocols are in effect:

  • Vaccination is a requirement of enrollment.
  • Mask wearing required during first nine weeks of Camp.
  • Masks wearing is optional for performances and final two weeks of rehearsal.
  • At performances, proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test will be required of all audience members (regardless of age), and masks must be worn at all times.
  • Tickets for performances will be by advance reservation only. No walk-up or day-of sales.

As always, our protocols are subject to change based on evolving guidelines.
