As we return to the stage after a year and a half away, we do so with a maximum emphasis on safety for our patrons, performers, and staff. Our reopening is being done in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines, and may change as health and safety guidelines change.

Advanced Sales Only / No Day-of or Walk-up Sales
To make sure your visit goes as smoothly as possible, all shows will go off-sale at midnight the night before. This will give our box office staff time to contact all attendees and acquaint them with current COVID protocols. That way, everyone knows in advance what to expect.

Proof of vaccination or a negative Coronavirus test required
All guests will be required to either show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 (meaning there must be at least 14 days elapsed from the date of the final dose) or provide negative COVID test results taken within 72 hours of the event.

To enter the theatre, please bring a photo ID and either your physical vaccination card, a picture of your vaccination card, a digital vaccination record, or a copy of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of the performance. California residents may request a digital vaccination record at MyVaccineRecord.cdph.ca.gov.

Because of the enhanced check-in procedures, we strongly recommend guests arrive thirty minutes early so that everyone can be seated by show time. There will be a ten-minute grace period, however, no one will be allowed into the theater after that period.

Mask wearing required
Since August 20, 2021, the County of Ventura has mandated mask wearing at all indoor gatherings, regardless of vaccination status. We are strictly enforcing this policy.

A few more things to know
In keeping with other theaters across Southern California, we are adjusting our food and drink policy. Concession will be open, however, as part of our COVID protocol, it may not be brought into the auditorium. Alternatively, tables and chairs will be placed in our adjacent lighted outdoor courtyard for consumption during pre-show and intermission.

All High Street Arts Center staff, performers, ushers, crew, and volunteers are fully vaccinated, however, until we get past these challenging times, two other changes necessary are that our opening night reception, and meet & greet with the cast following the show will have to wait for now. Thank you all for your patience and continued support. We’re all in this together!

For questions regarding this policy, please email BoxOffice@HighStreetArtsCenter.com, or call (805) 529-8700 from 10:00-1:00 Tuesday – Saturday.

Theater COVID-19 protocols are subject to change based on latest health and safety guidelines.
